Welcome to the web home of the Southwest Four Wheel Drive Association

Fall Quarterly location change.
Lone Star
Jeep Club convinced the City of Bridgeport to "make it happen" and get their new off road park ready by mid October. Here's your chance to wheel property that [most of you] have never wheeled before. A former rock quarry, surrounded by acres of treed and hilly land. Dates are still the weekend of October 18.
Summer 4 Wheel Drive Lines delayed due to lack of content. Start writing those event reports now and get them to the editor within two weeks after the Summer Quarterly. Share all the good/fun things your club does with the rest of us.

Summer Quarterly coming up in Nathrup, Colorado.
Hosted by New Mexico 4 Wheelers. Meeting is August 2, 2008. Groups will depart HQ from July 31 through August 2 for various trail rides.
Fall Quarterly site and date selected. Lone Star Jeep Club will host the Fall Quarterly at either Barnwell Mountain Rec Area or [possibly] the City of Bridgeport's (Texas) new off road park. The meeting date is October 18, 2008.
Spring Quarterly notes. Thank you FWD-FWD for some great weather and great wheelin'. I hear there were about 100 rigs out on the trails. Don't forget to send your pictures to the 4 Wheel Drive Lines editor. We had a quorum of clubs represented. Watch this website or your 4 Wheel Drive Lines for meeting minutes. Other than approving LSJC's Fall Quarterly proposal, the most notable action taken was a motion for the BOD to author a proposed bylaw change establishing Webmaster as a member of the Association's Board of Directors. Guidance was given to the BOD and the details of the proposed change were left to the BOD to determine and submit to the membership, hopefully in time for a vote at the Summer meeting.

September 4WDriveLines delayed.
With the strong possibility of several important business items being acted upon at the Fall Quarterly, your BOD elected to delay publishing. Every fiscal 2007 member of SWFWDA will have a Fall newsletter mailed to them IF WE HAVE A CURRENT/VALID MAILING ADDRESS FOR YOU. We have attempted contact with all member clubs to let them know we must receive a current roster with addresses within the next week. Individual and supporting members should contact the membership secretary to ensure we have your address. Whether or not you will be rejoining SWFWDA in fiscal 2008, get your mailing address verified if you want to receive the last issue of fiscal 2007.
